- At
time of booking there is a $250.00 deposit for tent trailers and
$500.00 reservation deposit for the first week and 250.00 for each
week there after for motorhomes & travel trailers. The deposit
will be deducted from the cost of the rental when the unit is picked
up.
- There
is a $750.00 pre auth damage deposit required at time of pick-up.
This will be held until the unit is returned. Once the unit has
been inspected the pre auth will zero out.
- There
will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 for all cancellations.
The full deposit will be kept if the cancellation is less than 30
days prior to the rental date.
- Payments
may be made by Debit, Visa, or Mastercard.
- HST
12% must be calculated on all charges.
- Full
payment for rental and insurance must be made at time of pick up.
- Rates
are based on a one week minimum during high season - July/Aug.
- No
smoking & No Animals allowed in Motorhomes/trailers. Additional
cleaning charges will apply to units found to have had an animal
in them.
- Tent
trailers are equipped with fridge and stove.
- Client
is responsible to ensure the hitch on their tow vehicle is properly
fastened and is of adequate weight capacity. Hitch height is 18".
Trailers require a 2 5/16" ball. Tent trailers - 2".
- Tow
vehicle must have an electric brake control and we recommend a charge
line for the trailer battery, for all but the tent trailers.
- Must
be twenty five years or older and hold a valid drivers license.
- Rental
units can be picked up between 1pm and 4pm.
- Units
must be returned before 12 pm. There will be a 50.00 per hour late
charge on units not returned on time.
- Vehicle
is expected to be clean upon return or a cleaning charge of a Min.
of $150.00 will apply.
- Renter
to return vehicle in the same condition as received. Gasoline/propane
tanks full and holding tanks empty. Charges will be applied if these
conditions are not met.
- Client
must pay for time reserved. There is no refund if rental is terminated
by clients before the end of the rental period.
- Vehicles
are not permitted to travel to Alaska, the Yukon or Northwest Territories.
Travel north of Fort St. or Stewart, (no Alaska Highway or Cassiar
Highway travel without prior arrangement. No Dempster Highway travel
at all) is subject to a $500.00 surcharge.
- Trailers
and tent trailers are not permitted north of Ft. St. John or Stewart
or on extended gravel roads.
- Units
are non-smoking - Min. of $150.00 cleaning charge will apply to
units found to have smoking odour.
- Travel
Trailers require that the tow vehicle have an equalizer hitch. These
are available on a rental basis.
- A
& H RV Rentals will not be responsible for loss of fridge, furnace,
lights, etc. for low or dead auxiliary battery if you are not plugged
into a 110 volt electrical campsite hook-up.
- No
fish or fresh seafood to be stored in fridge or freezer.
